The Cable company connecting their service from the pole across the street on the left to our new pole.

We began the day by working on mounting our circuit breaker box. We started by anchoring four 2x4s, 16" on center. These were carefully positioned to be in line with any future 2x4 studding. Here Paul is tightening one of the concrete screws in the first 2x4 with a ratchet.

Measuring for the second 2x4.

After plumbing the 2x4 and pre-drilling holes in both the 2x4 and the wall, the boards get screwed to the wall.

Once the holes are pre-drilled in the 2x4 and the hole locations marked on the wall, Jeff uses the rotary hammer to drill one of the concrete holes to accept the anchor screws.

Drilling another hole in the concrete.

Paul opts for the drill motor to drive in some screws.

Drilling the concrete holes for the 4th and last 2x4.

With our 2x4s are in place, we fed the orange cable line and the black electric line through the access holes in the wall.

Out at the meter/disconnect box, Paul prepares the inlet for feeding the elecric service cable in from the transformer.

The electric line feeding our house is hooked up on the right side of the box.

A bit later, we had the main service cable connected.

Though we couldn't find a code for it, we decided to paint our breaker box mounting board black.

Our breaker box mounted and ready for initial wiring.
