Bob and Jeff decided to work from the top down, so Jeff got up on the high center tower and started by laying batts near and over the ridge pole.
By evening, the entire rear third of the ceiling was done. They were making great progress so they decided to turn the work lights on and keep going. In this picture, the center tower is pushed over toward the east half of the ceiling to where Jeff had to lie down to put these batts in. You can barely see the orange legs of his suit.

When Bob wasn't sending up supplies to Jeff, he was cleaning up the floor to make rolling the scaffold towers easier.
Here's what the ceiling looked like at the end of the day. Those 4' batts look like bricks.
